Dua Lipa is an English musician and singer born on 22nd August 1995, at London United Kingdom. Her debut self-titled album debuted in 2017 after she had signed with Warner Bros Records. The album reached No. three on the U.K. Charts. The album had eight songs released such as Be the First I.D.G.A.F., and New Rules. In the United States it peaked as sixth in the charts. Lipa was awarded the Brit Award in 2018 as British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. The album has been certified platinum in many countries. Dua Lipa was born London on 22 August 1995 to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Dua Lipa is Bosnian descent by the maternal grandparents of her. It is also possible to trace back her ancestors in Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. Her grandparents were historians as well. The siblings of Lipa are Rina and Gjin. Her musical inspirations come from her father, who is the lead singer and guitarist of Kosovan the rock group Oda.
