Anita Saarkessian

Anita Sarkeesian has been a Canadian and American feminist media critic for over 20 years. She's also an accomplished public speech writer. She was the creator of Feminist Frequency a website that hosts videos and commentary analyzing depictions of women's roles in popular media. Anita Sarkeesian a Canadian American media critic. As of 2009, this ambitious young woman was slammed by the Internet for starting a web featuring a series about gender and videogames. The attack did have been a hindrance, rather it made her more determined as a feminist media critic. Numerous awards have been given to her as a way of acknowledging all of the contribution she has have made.
