Sharp was born and raised within Rochester (New York) and embraced music. While at the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello as well as piano. When she was awarded a scholarship to The Boston Conservatory because of her love for theater in schools Sharp applied for The Boston Conservatory. The Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp after she graduated. Sharp started her professional career on stage after graduating from the Conservatory. Sharp performed on her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. She debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Sharp also played 8 roles in the comedy interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp was Abyssinia and Aida on stage, as well. Sharp's work is not limited to the stage or screen. Sharp has written and co-written several projects. Sharp is still performing and is in the process of putting together an album of full length. Sharp enjoys exercising. She stays fit by training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp resides with her family, including her husband in Los Angeles.
